At St Michael’s we usually run an Alpha Course in the Autumn, every Tuesday at 7 pm.  All sessions will centre around a good hot meal and an opportunity to hear and talk about issues of the Christian faith and will finish by 9.15 pm.  The venue is the Jabez Barn, Church Farm, Church Road, Offham ME19 5NZ (right next to the church) and there is no cost involved.  It is completely free to attend!

For those who have not before heard of Alpha before, it may help to know that it is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks.  Each talk looks at different questions around the basics of Christian belief and is designed to create discussion and conversation.  Alpha started in a church in London, but it is now run all around the globe in all sorts of different cultures and places. Alpha courses meet in cafes, churches, universities, homes – you name it.  No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.

Oh…and you don’t necessarily have to live in Offham!

If you, or someone you know, is interested then please contact us via this website.  We look forward to hearing from you.
