Rev Canon Dr Helen Burn
Canon Helen is the Team Rector for the Kent Downs and Malling Team, of which West Malling and Offham are a part. She leads the team of seven parishes which also includes Addington, Birling, Leybourne, Ryarsh and Trottiscliffe. She is married to Geoffrey and they live in the Vicarage in Leybourne. Our Vicar
Rev David Green
Rev David Green is the Team Vicar for the Kent Downs and Malling Team. He has worked in West Malling and Offham since 2011 under several job titles and now services in the Wider group. He remains responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our churches in worship, mission, discipleship, teaching and pastoral care. You can find out more about David elsewhere on this site.
Our Curate
Rev Kelly Parsons
Rev Kelly Parsons is the Assistant Curate for the Kent Downs and Malling Team. Kelly started with us in 2022 and is spending several years ministering in our area as she trains as a Minister and prepares for an incumbency-level role in the future. You can find out more about Kelly here.
Our Lay ministers
Mrs Margaret Moore
Margaret Moore is an authorized Lay Reader. Readers are lay people in the Church of England, from all walks of life, who are called by God and licensed by the Church to preach, teach, lead worship and assist the clergy in pastoral and other duties. Margaret regularly leads services and preaches and visits the sick and housebound for Home Communion.
Our Team Administrator
Jonica Thomas
Jonica is the Team administrator for the Kent Downs and Malling Team. Jonica started with us in 2023 and is responsible for making sure all our back-office admin and processes run smoothly.
Our Churchwardens at St Mary’s
Jeff & Kathy Griffiths
Jeff and Kathy are husband and wife and took on the role of co-Churchwardens in 2023. They live in Kings Hill. Along with Clare, John is responsible for the fabric of the church buildings and, also, looking after the clergy of the parish.
Clare Innes
Clare has been a Churchwarden since the Spring of 2017. She is married to Duncan and they live in Offham. Along with John, Clare is responsible for the fabric of the church buildings and, also, looking after the clergy of the parish.

Sonja has a Churchwarden in Offham since 2022. She is responsible for the fabric of the church buildings and, also, looking after the clergy of the parish.
Jane Jordan
Jane Jordan has been a Churchwarden in Offham since the Spring of 2020. Jane is married to Ken and live in Offham. Along with Stephen, Jane is responsible for the fabric of the church buildings and, also, looking after the clergy of the parish.
